面板显示不均分析及改善对策研究

摘要
通过对大量显示不均样品进行分析,找到了显示不均产生的直接原因和根本原因,并基于分析结果设计了改善显示不均的实验.通过分析发现:显示不均产生的直接原因是重力引起的柱形隔垫物位置偏移;根本原因是柱形隔垫物尺寸太小,周边没有可以阻挡柱形隔垫物位置偏移的金属线.实验结果显示:用盒子运输面板,或缩短面板在卡夹中的放置时间,可有效改善显示不均,但不适用于量产;此外,增大柱形隔垫物尺寸,从而减小柱形隔垫物周围空间可从根源上改善显示不均.通过将柱形隔垫物的尺寸由15 μm增加到23 μm,显示不均的不良等级由Level 4降为Level 2.5,不良得到有效改善.
Abstract
By analyzing massive display inconformity samples,the direct cause and the root cause of display inconformity were found,and on this basis,experiments were designed to improve the display inconformity defect.The analysis indicated that the direct cause of display inconformity was the position shift of pillar spacer caused by gravity;and the root cause was that the size of pillar spacer was too small,so there was no metal line around the pillar spacer which could prevent the pillar spacer from position shift.The result of experiments showed that transport panel by putting it in box,or reducing the duration while panel was put in cassette could obviously improve display inconformity,but were not suitable for production.Furthermore,increasing the size of pillar spacer,so as to decrease the space around pillar spacer could effectively improve the display inconformity defect at the source.By increasing the size of pillar spacer from 15 μm to 23 μm,the defect grade of display inconformity was reduced from Level 4 to Level 2.5,and the display inconformity defect was greatly improved.
