摘要
研究被两正交光场耦合的V型三能级原子系统中电磁诱导下的左手效应。讨论了正交耦合光场强度、探测场失谐量和上能级间自发辐射耦合相干对该原子系统介电常数、磁导率和折射系数的影响。研究表明,在合适的参数条件下,该原子系统的介电常数、磁导率在二维相同的区域内同时为负值,且取值分布具有各向同性的特征;即产生了各向同性的二维左手效应。
Abstract
Electromagnetically induced left-handedness was investigated in a V-type three-level atomic system coupled by two orthogonal light fields. This paper discussed the permittivity, permeability and refractive index dependence on the two orthogonal coupling field, the detuning of probe field and the spontaneously generated coherence. The results showed that the negative permittivity, negative permeability and negative refractive index can occur in the same frequency region and their distribution is isotropic under appropriate parameters, i.e., two-dimensional isotropic left-handedness is obtained.
