摘要
为研究环境温度对光纤光栅使用寿命的影响,从光纤光栅的成栅机理出发,分析了光纤光栅折射率调制度的形成及热致衰减的物理机理;并以热致衰减机理为基础、以峰值反射率为主要指标,建立了温度对光纤光栅使用寿命的影响模型,得到了光纤光栅峰值反射率随温度及时间的变化关系.物理实验与数值仿真验证了理论模型的合理性,即:在仅考虑温度影响因素的情况下,光纤光栅在常规应用温度条件下可长期正常工作.
Abstract
Based on the formation and attenuation mechanisms of Fiber Bragg Gratings (FBGs),a model describing its attenuation law was established to study the effect of environmental temperature on its service life. This model discusses physical mechanisms of formation and change of the refractive index modulation,gives the relation of peak reflectivity between temperature and time. By experiment and numerical simulation,the rationality of theoretical model is verified. It is concluded that FBGs can work reliably for a long time under conventional conditions without consideration effects of other environment impacts except the temperature.
