基于DPSK调制的自由空间光通信性能分析
Performance analysis of DPSK modulation-based free space optical communications
摘要
介绍了相干DPSK(差分相移键控)的调制和解调原理, 并对零差解调、外差解调和MZI(马赫-曾德干涉)解调三种相干解调方式进行了理论分析。利用Matlab和Optisystem仿真软件构建了基于DPSK调制的FSO(自由空间光通信)系统, 得到不同条件下系统误码性能; 对三种解调方式进行了仿真, 仿真结果表明, 零差相干解调方式具有更好的误码性能, 更适合FSO。
Abstract
In this paper, the modulation and demodulation principles for the coherent Differential Phase Shift Keying (DPSK) are briefly introduced and theoretical analysis of three coherent demodulation modes, i.e. homodyne, heterodyne and Mach-Zehnder Interference (MZI) demodulations, is made. Using Matlab and Optisystem simulation software, a DPSK modulation-based Free Space Optical (FSO) communication system is built, the effects on the system BER performance under different conditions obtained and the three demodulation modes simulated. The simulation results show that homodyne coherent detection with better BER performance is most suitable for FSO.
