基于不同种类光纤的量子关联光子对源输出特性比较

摘要
基于光纤中自发四波混频过程的量子关联(光子源)对近年来得到了广泛的关注和深入的研究,展现了其在量子信息处理中的应用潜力。由于不同的信息处理任务对关联光子对的特性具有不同的要求,本文对基于色散位移光纤、标准单模光纤、光子晶体光纤以及微纳光纤产生的关联光子对的特性进行了比较。文中通过分析各类光纤介质所产生的关联光子对的纯度、波段和频谱关联性等,指出了采用不同光纤为非线性介质时具有的优势和局限性,从而为探索基于光纤的量子关联光子对源在量子信息处理中的应用提供了参考和依据。
Abstract
In recent years,quantum correlated photon pair sources based on four wave mixing in optical fibers have aroused a huge interest,which shows their potentials in quantum information processing (QIP).Since different QIP applications require photon pairs with different characteristics,in this paper,we compared and analyzed the sources of photon pairs,which were generated from dispersion shifted fiber,standard single mode fiber,photonic crystal fiber,and micro/nano-fiber,respectively.According to the features of the purities,wavelength bands and spectral properties of photon pairs,we characterized the pros and cons of photon pairs produced from each kind of fibers.The results are useful for exploring the applications of the fiber based sources in the field of QIP.
