基于FPGA的LCD显示控制器的设计
A Design Of LCD Display Controller Based On FPGA
摘要
针对目前商用级芯片不能满足LCD显示器在面向特殊应用场合时的需求,设计了一款基于FPGA(工业级芯片)的LCD显示控制器。控制器可接收2路DVI信号,具有完备的OSD屏幕控制功能,通过一系列的视频处理,产生LCD屏TCON需要的LVDS信号。具体描述了各个处理模块基本工作原理及实现方法,并介绍了集成在FPGA上的嵌入式检测、宽范围背光控制、低温加热等功能。经过试验验证,该设计工作状态稳定可靠,实现了真正的“SOC”。
Abstract
A FPGA-based (commercial on the shelfs,COTS ) LCD display controller is designed, for the COTS could not meet the needs of LCD displays in special applications occasions currently. The controller receives 2 channels of DVI signals, having the complete function of OSD screen control, and it outputs LVDS signals needed by LCD TCON through a series of video processing. The basic working principles of each module and realization methods are described in detail. The functions of embedded detection,wide-range backlight controlling and low temperature heating integrated in FPGA are introduced as well. It is experimentally shownthat the design is a realization of "SOC" with stable and reliable working state.
