基于相位一致性的红外图像边缘检测方法

摘要
由于红外图像的灰度和对比度较可见光图像的低,用基于灰度的边缘检测方法检测红外图像的效果不佳。针对这种情况,利用相位一致性对灰度和对比度的变化具有不变性的原理,提出了基于相位一致性的红外图像边缘检测方法。首先计算红外图像的相位一致性值,然后采用K-mean法分割出包含边缘的区域,最后用形态学相关方法生成边缘曲线。实验结果表明,该方法对红外图像边缘的检测效果比Canny算法更准确。
Abstract
Because the gray level and contrast of infrared images are lower than those of visible images, it is not effective for an edge detection method based on gray level to detect infrared images. For this reason, an infrared image edge detection method based on phase consistency is proposed according to the invariant principle of phase consistency for gray scale and contrast. First, the phase consistency value of an infrared image is calculated. Then, the regions containing edges are segmented by K-mean’s method. Finally, the edge curves are generated by a morphological method. The experimental results show that the proposed method is more effective than the Canny algorithm in infrared image edge detection.
