数据中心光网络组网及抗毁技术发展趋势

摘要
随着云计算、大数据和互联网应用等新型业务的迅猛发展, 作为其支撑设施的数据中心也得到了快速的建设和发展。光互连具有高速、大容量和低时延的优势, 被广泛地应用于数据中心组网中。然而频繁发生的自然灾难和人为破坏对数据中心及数据中心光网络的可用性造成巨大的威胁, 直接影响到数据中心的业务提供, 因此数据中心光网络的抗毁技术一直是数据中心光网络运营者研究的重点。文章介绍了目前数据中心的组网现状, 分析和对比了数据中心光网络最常用的抗毁技术, 并根据当前数据中心光网络的发展趋势, 阐述了未来数据中心光网络抗毁技术的发展方向。
Abstract
With the rapid development of cloud computing, big data and Internet applications, datacenters which are regarded as the important infrastructure have also obtained rapid construction and development. Optical interconnect technology which holds the advantages of large capacity, high speed, and low energy has been widely applied to the inter-datacenter networking. With the frequent occurrence of natural disasters and human-made intentional attacks, datacenters and optical datacenter networks are facing an enormous threat. How to design a disaster-resilient optical datacenter network has attracted more and more attention. In this paper, we analysis the current development situation of optical datacenter networks and compare the commonly used survivability technologies. Based on the current situation of optical datacenter networks, we present the development direction of the survivability of the next-generation optical datacenter network.
