PCD/PCBN复合片激光切割工艺与质量研究

摘要
选取几种典型的 PCD、PCBN 复合片, 采用QCW光纤激光对其进行了多次切割工艺试验。运用三坐标测量仪、三维显微镜对激光切割加工后复合片的表面粗糙度、加工质量等进行测量。结果表明, 经QCW光纤激光切割后的复合片, 切割缝宽均在0.18~0.2 mm左右, 崩边尺寸和热影响区域在0.1 mm左右, 切割截面粗糙度为Ra 30~50 μm。从切割效率上来看, 对于1.6 mm复合片, QCW光纤激光切割PCD效率可达12~15 mm/s, PCBN可达8~10 mm/s, 而市面上的YAG激光切割效率普遍为1~2 mm/s, 即在切割质量相同的情况下, QCW光纤激光切割效率是YAG激光的6倍, 但QCW光纤激光切割设备价格只比YAG激光设备略贵。因此, 采用QCW光纤激光切割PCD和PCBN复合片具有显著的优势。
Abstract
Several typical PCD and PCBN compacts were selected and cutting process tests were carried out by QCW fiber laser. The surface roughness and processing quality of the compacts after laser cutting were measured by using a three coordinates measuring instrument and a three-dimensional microscope. The results show that after QCW fiber laser cutting of compacts, the cutting slits are all about 0.18~0.2 mm in width, the size of the crust and the heat affected zone is about 0.1 mm, and the cutting section roughness is Ra 30~50 μm. In terms of the cutting efficiency for 1.6 mm compacts, PCD cutting efficiency by QCW fiber laser up to 12~15 mm/s, PCBN up to 8~10 mm/s, while the market’s YAG laser cutting efficiency is generally 1~2 mm/s, that is, when the cutting quality is the same, QCW fiber laser cutting efficiency is 6 times that of YAG laser, but QCW fiber laser cutting equipment is only slightly more expensive than YAG laser equipment. Therefore, the use of QCW fiber laser cutting PCD and PCBN compacts has more significant advantages.
