摘要
为有效解决时分波分复用无源光网络中光网络单元因采用睡眠技术而导致的业务时延恶化问题,提出一种基于业务感知的绿色动态带宽分配算法。通过结合收发机独立睡眠、混合周期睡眠等节能机制,尽可能地延长收发机睡眠时长,从而有效地降低了光网络单元能耗;通过业务感知,对业务未来短期内的带宽需求进行预测,并根据时延敏感型业务需求动态地调整轮询周期时长,从而保证在业务满足服务质量要求的同时最小化时延敏感型业务时延。仿真结果表明,所提算法在保证业务服务质量的前提下,能有效地降低时分波分复用无源光网络中光网络单元的能耗。
Abstract
In order to effectively solve the problem of time delay degradation caused by the sleep technology in the Optical Network Unit (ONU) of Time and Wavelength Division Multiplexed Passive Optical Network (TWDM-PON), a green dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm based on traffic-aware is proposed. By combining energy saving mechanisms such as the receivers and transmitters sleep independently and sending sleep control signaling one by one and mixed sleep, the sleep time of transceivers are extended as long as possible, so as to reduce the energy consumption of ONU. In addition, by sensing the traffic, the bandwidth demand of services in the short future can be predicted. Therefore, the polling cycle length are dynamically adjusted according to the bandwidth demand of delay sensitive services, so as to meet the requirement of service quality and minimize the delay of expedited forwarding service at the same time. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce the energy consumption at the ONU in TWDM-PON under the premise of ensuring the quality of service.
