大尺寸8K显示行业关键技术分析

摘要

为了更好地进行大尺寸8K显示面板的技术开发与推广,本文系统性地分析了8K的市场容量,详细地阐述了8K产业链的核心环节、关键技术及主要参与者,并从行业的角度对面板技术开发和推广策略进行了思考。主要结论如下:大尺寸8K显示即将在2020年迎来爆发,预计出货2.425百万;内容拍摄、编码/解码、传输和显示是8K产业链中最核心的4个环节,各环节需要协同发展,共同推动8K产业走向成熟;各环节均有相关机构主导,技术标准基本完善,如用于编/解码的H.265、用于信号传输的ISDB-S3与HDMI 2.1、用于面板开发的BT.2020建议书等,而硬件发展相对滞后。基于此,结合客户需求,本文提出了高端8K面板的核心参数应包含real 8K、120 Hz、BT.2020色域、12 bit和高动态范围,并从行业的角度对8K的合作开发与推广策略进行了初步探讨。

Abstract

In order to develop and promote the large size 8K display better, 8K industry chain was investigated systematically, including market, key link, technologies and players, and the 8K display development and promotion strategies were proposed from the angle of the whole industry. The result shows that 8K market is about to explode in 2020 and the total shipments will be 2.425 millions (M). The 8K process needs to be promoted by the whole industry chain, including content shooting, encoding/decoding, transmission and display. At present, the technical standards of each link, which is led by relevant institutions, have been ready, such as H.265 for encoding/decoding, ISDB-S3 and HDMI 2.1 for transmission and BT.2020 for display. However, the development of the hardware falls behind relatively. Based on the status, and combined with customer requirements, this research indicates that the key parameters of the high-end 8K display should contain real 8K, 120 Hz, BT.2020 color space, 12 bit and HDR. Finally, the development and promotion strategies are discussed.
