一种带有温度自适应功能的OLED驱动芯片设计
Design of OLED-on-Silicon Driving Chip with Auto Temperature Compensation
摘要
设计了一款对角线尺寸1.96 cm、分辨率为1 280×1 024的硅基OLED微显示驱动芯片。通过温度检测电路来检测芯片的实时温度, 同时用温度检测电路的读数来控制RAMPDAC输出电压的峰值和斜率, 从而实现OLED亮度随温度变化的自补偿。芯片采用0.18 μm 1P6M混合信号工艺完成了电路设计和仿真验证。测试结果表明, 在-40 ℃到80 ℃温度区间内, 温度检测电路读数从0~255线性上升, RAMPDAC输出电压的温度灵敏度达到14 mV/℃。
Abstract
An 1.96 cm driving circuit with resolution of 1 280×1 024 for OLED on silicon was presented.The temperature sensor could be used for the accurate measurement of the real temperature of the chip. Simultaneously, the readings of the temperature sensor could be used to control the peak and slope of the RAMP digital-to-analog converter(DAC) , which could realize the auto compensation of the OLED brightness with temperature.The circuit was designed by the 0.18 μm mix-signal 1P6M CMOS process. The results of experiment showed that during the temperature from -40 ℃ to 80 ℃,the temperature readings increased linearly from 0 to 255.The temperature sensitivity of the RAMPDAC voltage could reach about 14 mV/℃.
