激光二极管叠阵侧面泵浦多边形Nd∶YAG薄片激光器泵浦均匀性模拟仿真

摘要
阐述了一种激光二极管叠阵以zigzag方式侧面泵浦多边形Nd∶YAG薄片放大器的模拟研究, 建模对Nd∶YAG晶体内泵浦光的吸收情况进行了深入的数值模拟与分析, 研究了晶体的Nd3+掺杂浓度对泵浦光分布均匀性的影响。研究表明, 采用多个方向泵浦和zigzag泵浦方式易于实现介质内泵浦光的均匀分布, 在晶体的Nd3+离子掺杂浓度为0.25at.%时, 仿真得到的泵浦光吸收分布为平顶型, 分布的均匀性均为0.0505。对侧面泵浦多边形薄片激光放大器的进一步研究提供了参考。
Abstract
The simulation research of laser diode array (LDA) side-pumped Nd∶YAG polygonal thin-disk laser amplifier is reported. Numerical simulation of the pump light absorption in Nd∶YAG crystal using ray tracing software and study of the influences of Nd3+ doping concentration on the pump light distribution. The research shows that multi-directional pumped and zigzag pumped methods are easy to achieve uniform distribution of pump light in the crystal, when the Nd3+ doping concentration is 0.25at.%, the Nd∶YAG polygonal thin-disk crystal has flat-top distribution of pump light and the pump light distribution uniformity is 0.0505. The research has important reference value for the optimized design and experimental research of side-pumped polygonal thin-disk laser.
