双屏液晶显示中光学胶影响分析
Influence Analysis of Bonding Optical Adhesive on Dual?panel Liquid Crystal Display
摘要
为了克服液晶显示对比度不高的问题,将两层液晶屏通过光学胶绑定在一起,形成双层液晶显示,可以有效提高对比度。绑定光学胶不仅要将两层液晶屏牢固地粘接在一起,而且不能影响显示效果。利用有限元仿真软件和液晶光学仿真软件,分析了绑定光学胶厚度对大尺寸双层液晶显示屏的影响。针对165 cm的双层液晶显示屏的研究显示,当光学胶厚度处于0.15 mm到0.3 mm之间时,能够很好地保证双层显示屏之间的粘贴强度和光学特性。
Abstract
Liquid crystal display (LCD) has a problem of low contrast. In order to overcome this defect, two panels were bound together by optical adhesive to form a dual-panel LCD, which could effectively improve the contrast. The optical adhesive should not only firmly bond the two panels, but also have no effect on optical performance. The finite element simulation software and liquid crystal optical simulation software were employed to analyze the effect of the bonded optical adhesive thickness on the large-size dual-panel LCD. For a 165 cm dual-panel LCD, the thickness of the optical adhesive is suggested to be 0.15 mm to 0.3 mm, which could ensure both the adhesion strength and optical performance of a dual-panel LCD.
