Bound States of Continuum in Optical Artificial Micro-Nanostructures: Fundamentals, Developments and Applications
1 引言
人工微结构可以在亚波长尺度下对光子进行捕获,从而产生高密度局域的电磁场能量,这是在极小的空间内操控光场的重要手段之一,而且该结构在光场调控领域得到了广泛的应用[1-4]。人工微结构能够实现复杂的波前调控,包括对光的振幅、相位、色散和偏振的调制[5-9],其可以分为基于等离激元响应的金属性纳米结构(如贵金属和石墨烯等)和基于近场散射效应的全电介质纳米结构两类。金属性纳米结构可以在结构的表面或间隙处实现电场或磁场的增强,而且相同结构下的有效模式体积比全电介质纳米结构小一个量级以上[10],模式体积压缩因子可达到5×1010[11]。金属纳米结构的本征欧姆损耗和品质因数(Q)通常较低,而全电介质纳米结构利用近场耦合(如Mie谐振和Fabry-Pérot谐振等)可以使其同时具有电和磁响应,从而在近场产生强的电磁谐振[12]。因为全电介质纳米结构的本征损耗几乎为零,所以其具有较高的调制效率,但辐射损耗仍难以抑制。辐射损耗会降低品质因数,从而降低光与物质相互作用的效率。直到最近,连续体中的束缚态(BICs)可以突破这一瓶颈。
BICs在能谱上位于辐射连续区域,并与辐射连续态完全正交[13],其也称为植入本征态。研究者认为当产生法诺(Fano)共振的分立态与连续态完全正交时,这些分立的共振态即为BICs[14-15]。理论上,BICs具有无限大的辐射品质因数,但无法被入射波激发,这一结论的基本假设是光子系统具有线性和互易性[16]。在BICs的参数空间附近,准连续体中的束缚态由于不满足共振态正交的条件,因此可以被入射波所激发,而共振态的品质因数同样可以得到极大的提高,这对器件的研制具有重要意义。von Neumann和Wigner[17]提出了当一个量子系统存在小的阻尼振动时,则连续能谱中可能存在束缚态,与势阱中的一般束缚态不同,其位于散射连续区域,但并不向连续态泄漏能量。1985年,Friedrich和Wintgen[18]通过连续调制一个系统中的参量可以使一对共振态发生强烈耦合,共振态的相干相消会导致其中一个共振态的线宽消失,进而形成BICs,形成BICs的机制也称为Friedrich-Wintgen绘景,这为研究者在各种波动系统中寻找高品质因数共振态提供了一种简便而有效的方法。2008年,巴黎第十一大学的Marinica等[19]将BICs的概念引入光学体系中,基于两组耦合的光波导阵列理论预言了电磁共振态散射线宽的消失以及电磁场的局域特性。2011年,以色列理工学院的Plotnik等[20]对光学BICs进行了针对性的实验,该团队在一维光波导阵列的上、下方分别加入额外的波导,每一个波导中的模式相互作用,从而形成了连续的能带,另外加入的波导对在连续的能量谱中具有一个反对称模式,该模式可以实现无损耗传播,而打破垂直方向的对称性模式会使能量泄漏到波导阵列中,这种对称性不匹配的BICs称为对称性保护的BICs。2013年,美国麻省理工学院的Hsu等[21]采用了基于Friedrich-Wintgen式的参量调制法,在周期性光子结构中观测到另外一种光学BICs,即偶发BICs。在二维光子晶体的动量空间中,导模共振态的品质因数不仅在原点处发散,而且在非高对称点处也有发散的现象。将固定在动量空间原点处的BICs称为对称性保护的BICs,将非高对称点处的BICs称为偶发BICs。随着对称性模式的打破,对称性保护的BICs转化为有限大品质因数的准BICs;若保持对称性模式,调谐系统参数就可以形成偶发BICs。近期,关于BICs的研究也扩展到超构表面中。BICs超构表面利用具有面内二次转动对称性的结构单元,在正入射的情况下,随着面内C2对称性的逐渐破缺,BICs的品质因数呈指数下降,则此时转化为准BICs,这有利于平面波的激发[22]。从原理上来讲,基于Friedrich-Wintgen式的参量调制法引入的BICs比量子阻尼势阱中预测的BICs更容易实现。在人工微结构光子系统中,研究人员只需要连续调制某些参数,如波矢和结构参数等就可以在强耦合条件下实现模式的相干相消,进而实现BICs。对称性保护的BICs的研究结果表明,BICs对保持系统对称性的结构参数不敏感,因此放宽了对微加工工艺的要求,使其更具有实际的应用价值。BICs是一种普遍的波动现象,在电子学[23-26]、声学[27-33]和光子学[13,16,19-22]等领域中正开展广泛的研究。本文首先介绍BICs的理论基础,包括光学BICs的能带分析、时域耦合模理论以及多极矩叠加理论;然后分体系地介绍BICs在光子学系统中的研究进展,包括光子晶体、超构表面和单个亚波长谐振器;最后总结光学BICs在不同领域中的应用前景。
2 光学BICs理论基础
图1为不同人工光学微纳结构中BICs的模式耦合与高品质因数的应用,其中λ表示谐振模式的波长,FOM表示谐振峰的优值因子。在超构表面、单个谐振器和光子晶体中,BICs形成于光学谐振模式之间的强烈耦合,周期性结构是在k空间中的某些点上,单个谐振器是在参数空间中的某些点上。两个或多个模式的强烈耦合后会发生相干相消,则模式的远场辐射被抑制,进而极大地提高系统的品质因数,甚至在理论上可以实现无限大的品质因数,使得系统在高品质因子传感、非线性增强和电磁场局域等领域中具有重要的应用价值。超构表面单元结构的特征尺寸均为亚波长量级,而且“超原子”的设计具有灵活性,能够对其进行多维度和多功能的光场调控。光子晶体本征模式的真空波长与结构单元相近,具有结构简单和制备方便的优点,而且相关理论比较成熟。单个谐振器虽然在以往研究较多,但是其辐射的通道数比二维平面结构更多,因此难以提高辐射的品质因数。单个微纳谐振器可以作为组成超构表面和光子晶体的基本单元,这对于BICs的研究具有重要意义。一般来说发散的品质因数无法观测,因此实验上可以观测到的现象有透射谱或散射谱的共振峰线宽逐渐消失和模式的辐射损耗接近为零等。利用BICs所具有极高品质因数的优势可以极大地增强光与物质的相互作用,减小器件的辐射损耗,实现许多高性能的应用,如高品质因子传感、非线性增强和电磁场局域等。

2.1 周期性光子结构的能带分析
光学BICs的物理机制如图2所示。BICs产生于波的相干相消,即将两个或者多个波叠加在一起可以完全抑制辐射损耗。在周期性光子学结构如光栅、光子晶体或超构表面中,具有周期性的材料可以使其导模耦合到辐射连续态中,这会导致导模变为泄漏模式,即产生导模共振态。同时,微结构的周期性也会导致泄漏模式的后向散射以及在动量空间中的高对称点(原点)处发生强烈耦合[34-36],前者产生更多辐射损耗的泄漏模式,而后者有无限大辐射品质因数的BICs,如图2(a)所示。引入具有周期性的材料还会导致辐射连续态从连续转为分立,即辐射仅通过有限个数的衍射通道。当结构单元的特征尺寸为亚波长尺度时,则系统只存在一个单独的开放衍射通道,即零级。因此对于这些结构,当共振模式未与零阶衍射通道耦合时,该模式就转化为BICs,这种情况可由对称性保护的BICs或是偶发BICs来实现[21-22]。其中能带分析方法仅适用于周期性结构,而时域耦合模理论及多极矩展开法是较普适的分析方法。

2.2 时域耦合模理论
时域耦合模理论在时间域内描述了系统中共振态的演化行为[34,36],其本质上是一组耦合谐振子的运动方程,而不针对具体的电磁场分布进行研究,因此可以便于应用在各种光学系统的时域演化模型中。所研究的系统由两个共振模式|1>和|2>构成,其近场耦合和远场耦合的系数分别为α和κ,其中远场耦合表示通过零阶衍射端口的耦合。两个模式的本征频率和辐射损耗分别为ω1,2和γ1,2,如图2(b)所示。忽略系统的本征损耗,哈密顿量H可以写为

根据pα的符号,BICs可以出现在高能带或低能带上[41]。
2.3 多极矩叠加理论
除了利用能带对BICs进行描述外,澳大利亚国立大学的Kivshar课题组[42-43]、国防科技大学刘伟课题组和华中科技大学陈云天课题组[44-45]均报道指出,BICs可以从多极矩的角度进行直观的解释。上述课题组均采用多极矩展开法将亚波长周期结构的外部辐射场写成矢量球谐函数求和的形式,矢量球谐函数中的系数取决于纳米颗粒的形状、材料性质以及晶格的对称性。根据群论决定的选择定则,当只有矢量球谐函数中的角量子数m≠0时,布里渊区中心点对应的矢量球谐函数的求和系数为零。对于亚波长周期性的结构,对称性保护的BICs的电磁模式不包含角量子数m=0的多极矩分量。对于布里渊区非高对称点,矢量球谐函数的求和系数一般不等于零,但在某些波矢下,所有矢量球谐函数的叠加结果为零,因此形成偶发BICs。这一过程可以简单理解为当元胞仅包含一个竖直放置的电偶极子和一个水平放置的磁偶极子时,在某些波矢处,两者可以完美的相干相消,所以完全抑制了辐射损耗[46]。总体来说,对称性保护的BICs对应垂直于样品面的多极矩,这类多极矩恰好在0°方向上没有辐射;偶发BICs对应微结构单元在某些方向上的多极矩,其相干叠加会导致辐射为零,如图2(c)所示。从多极矩的角度来看,单个谐振器中BICs的形成往往与电磁极矩从低阶转化到高阶有关[45,47],同时多极矩理论不受结构周期性排布的限制,因此多极矩分析法是研究光学BICs的一种比较直观且普适的理论方法。
能带理论将具有周期性的人工微结构中的本征模式看作布洛赫波,在动量空间中对具有周期性的开放式光学系统的本征态进行分析。能谱图中,传统意义上的束缚态(光锥下、能带线上的区域)、连续态(光锥上的区域)以及连续体束缚态(光锥上、能带线上的某些点)的位置(区域)十分简洁清晰,这有助于直观地理解相关的物理图像,但是能带分析的方法仅适用于具有周期性的结构,不适用于单个微纳谐振器。耦合模理论(时域)将系统模式转换为本征模式,将求解麦克斯韦方程的电磁学问题转化成求解矩阵形式的本征值问题,其本征值方程可以看作一组简单谐振子的运动方程,利用一些经验参数来表征近场耦合及远场耦合,说明该理论是一种比较普适的理论。耦合模理论考虑了模式间的耦合及模式与端口间的耦合,物理图像直观明了,而且能够计算透射谱等谱线的非对称线型,但其中的一些经验参数还需要实验或模拟的数据进行拟合来确定,说明该理论是一种半经验的理论。多极矩展开法另辟蹊径,从电磁谐振分解的角度来理解BICs在远场辐射的抑制方法。从原理上来讲,耦合模理论和多极矩展开法更为普适,可以应用于非周期性结构或单个结构。
3 典型光子系统中的BICs
3.1 光栅及光子晶体中的BICs
早期,在探索光子晶体束缚态的过程中,研究人员发现了一些Fabry-Pérot模式的局域态[48-51],其在动量空间中的高对称点处有发散的现象[34],而且色散谱在连续束缚态中,但研究者并未意识到其与量子力学中的BICs的联系。2008年,Marinica等[19,52]将BICs的概念引入光栅中,随后在光栅和光子晶体体系得到了广泛的研究[53-65]。BICs源于多个模式间的相干叠加,因此不限于电介质体系,而且在半金属、金属体系中激子和等离激元与光子的混合模式中也发现了BICs现象[66-67]。Azzam等[67]利用了金属银光栅和其上覆盖的电介质包层结构可以避免金属等离激元模式与光子模式的能级交叉,证实了金属-电介质体系中对称性保护的BICs以及偶发BICs的存在,如图3(a)所示。
麻省理工学院的Zhen等[68]将BICs与拓扑联系起来,并将二维光子晶体中导模共振态的电场写作Bloch解的形式,并将周期函数部分投影到x-y平面,如图3(b)所示。对于亚波长周期性光子结构,BICs对应于动量空间中的偏振涡旋,其辐射偏振态为一个奇点,因此无法向系统外辐射能量,品质因数也会相应发散,如图3(c)所示。随后复旦大学的光子晶体课题组使用动量空间成像光谱系统,系统地阐述并表征了BICs与动量空间中的偏振涡旋之间的联系[69-70],如图3(d)所示。该课题组还讨论了打破反演对称性后,BICs在动量空间中的演化情况,并借此实现了动量空间中的偏振态对庞加莱球的全覆盖[71],这一工作拓展了光子晶体BICs的应用,为偏振态的调控增加新的自由度。近期,北京大学的Jin等[72]通过对光子晶体薄板进行周期性的精准调制,实现了动量空间中的9个BICs向一个BICs的演化。在转化临界点(merging BIC)的附近,导模共振态具有超高品质因数,如图3(e)所示。Jin等[72]利用了具有超高品质因数且拓扑保护下的BICs,可以极大地减少光子器件向平面外的散射损耗。Jin等[72]使用了通信波段下的可调谐激光器测量样品在不同方向的散射强度,当共振态的波矢在转化临界点时,其品质因数比在单独的BICs点(isolated BIC)提高一个数量级。上述工作的新颖性体现在不仅利用模式的相干性寻找BICs,而且通过多个BICs的相干可以改变辐射奇点的阶数,从而观测到极高的辐射品质因数。

3.2 超构表面及单个微纳结构中的BICs
超构表面是一种平面人工光学微结构,其可以实现对光波的振幅、相位和偏振等特性的有效操控[73-81],在全息成像[82-84]、非线性光学[85-91]、新型光束[92-94]和集成光学[95-98]等领域中的应用前景广阔。利用少层超构表面的层间相互作用,研究者已经可以设计出具有多功能的超构表面,从而实现多维度的光场调控[99-104]。关于超构表面BICs的研究大多集中在对称性保护的BICs[105-109],在BICs附近激发的共振响应具有超高的品质因数,因此可以极大地增强光与物质的作用效率。Cong等[109]使用了非对称的双开口环结构在太赫兹波段实现不同的偏振方向下BICs的选择性激发,如图4(a)所示。Cong等[109]发现在x偏振方向和y偏振方向的正入射光下,打破平面内C2对称性后,结构透射谱分别表现出Fano线型和电磁感应透明(EIT)线型。BICs与Fano共振和EIT同样采用了量子力学概念,同样由几率振幅的相干性推广到波动的相干性,该结果暗示了三种现象可能存在着一些本质的联系。将对称性的破缺作为一种调控准BICs的新自由度,这引起了研究者的广泛关注[110-111]。Kupriianov等[111]利用了由高度不同的纳米柱团簇构成的超构表面打破竖直方向的对称性,在微波波段实现了准BICs的选择性激发,其结构单元如图4(b)所示。不同高度的纳米柱团簇不仅可以实现共振态的频率和品质因数的调制,还可以改变准BICs模式的近场局域特性,即相对高度的变化会导致电磁强能量局域位置(hotspots)发生变化。针对超构表面中束缚态和局域态的研究,文献[
112-115]也认为其与BICs有一定的联系。Han等[115]在太赫兹(THz)波段提出了一种硅基超构表面,该结构为紧密排列的微米硅方块,若连续改变方块的长度L,发现在正入射的条件下,当L小于300 μm时,出现了偶发BICs(BICs I);当L接近300 μm时,共振峰的线宽趋于消失,此时出现了一种束缚态BICs(BICs II),如图4(c)所示。该束缚态的产生机制与在早期光子晶体薄板中产生导模共振态相似[3]。在一个无限大且具有连续周期性的薄板中引入分立的周期性方块(方块间隙从零到有限大小,y方向的周期性由连续转为分立),可以将导模与辐射连续态耦合,使导模转化为泄露模式,品质因数也由无限大变为有限大。从上述研究可以看到,BICs是一个非常广泛的概念,只要共振态在能谱上位于连续辐射区域,而且在远场无法观测到,都可以归结为BICs,因此其自然就包括了一些非对称结构单元引入的Fano共振态和EIT中的暗态。但需要强调的是,BICs应当是系统的本征态,例如Anapole模式的谱线虽然表现出线宽消失,但其是入射光与光子系统共同作用的结果,而不是开放光子系统的本征态[116],因此不能归结为BICs。

与只有单个辐射通道的亚波长周期性结构相比,单个微纳结构辐射损耗的抑制更为困难。德克萨斯大学的Monticone等[117]研究了材料介电常数无限大或为零的系统中束缚态情况,但在光学波段难以找到合适的材料。高品质因数的单个微纳结构可以作为超构表面的结构单元,使用该结构可以进一步高效地调控光场,因此单个结构中的BICs不仅在科学上富有挑战性,而且具有广泛的应用前景[118-124]。采用Friedrich与Wintgen[18]所提的参数调制法不仅可以在扩展的光子晶体结构中实现BICs,也可以直接在单个亚波长微纳结构中构建高品质因数的共振态。圣彼得堡的Rybin等[120]连续调制了纳米柱微腔的纵横比,发现其散射谱展现出著名的能级交叉避免(avoided crossing)现象,即模式强烈耦合的特征,如图4(d)所示。在线宽消失的参数附近,硅纳米柱具有百量级的辐射品质因数,这一结果具有极大的启发性和应用价值。2019年,Bogdanov等[121]采用了耦合二能级模型和多极矩展开法,认为单个纳米柱微腔中的BICs源于模式间强烈耦合的相干相消,并计算形成BICs的过程中谐振腔远场辐射形貌的演化情况,还在微波波段对散射截面进行测量,结果与理论符合较好,如图4(e)所示。2019年,意大利的Carletti等[47]利用了轴向偏振矢量光场来激发单个纳米柱微腔中的BICs,并使用了玻璃-氧化铟锡-玻璃衬底来调整谐振模式和品质因数,这可以显著提高非线性效应。值得注意的是,非线性效应与电场的增强直接相关,但电场的增强与辐射品质因数却不成正比例关系[10,124]。在直立开口环的金属超构表面中,研究人员展示了改变入射角激发准BICs的模型,其辐射品质因数随着入射角趋于0°而发散,但电场的增强却在一个小入射角度下存在极值,如图4(f)所示。文献[
124]认为在共振态下,电场的增强与辐射品质因数、总品质因数以及等效模式体积有关。当改变入射角度时,辐射品质因数的改变最为剧烈,其为主导因素。当辐射品质因数与本征损耗品质因数相等时,即达到临界耦合(critical coupling)时,电场增强达到极大值[124]。这一工作进一步说明了电场的增强与品质因数等物理量的关系,但对于电介质结构,其本征损耗较小,若达到临界耦合的状态需要精确控制辐射品质因数,这一工作具有一定的挑战性。目前,非线性BICs的工作集中讨论电场的非线性过程而忽略了磁非线性效应[125-126],原因在于常规磁性介质与光场的相互作用极其微弱,难以通过实验观测到。使用人工微纳结构所具有的磁响应、强磁场以及BICs谐振的高辐射品质因数特性,或许可以将BICs体系拓展到磁非线性领域,从而解决传统光学与光子学领域中磁效应极弱的问题,这对于发现磁光学新效应以丰富人工微纳结构在光学存储和记忆芯片等领域中的应用具有一定意义。
4 BICs相关应用
BICs作为一种新奇的共振态,其最大的特点是具有超高的辐射品质因数,因此可以利用其透射谱所具有的极窄半峰宽,将其应用在窄带滤波器方面[127]。在BICs附近电磁场可以获得极大的增强[128-130],进而可以产生诸多非线性效应[105-107,121-123]。Yoon等[129]使用了由晶体硅构成的光栅结构,理论上可获得超过108的场增强因子,如图5(a)所示。使用由非对称结构单元构成的超构表面在基频处激发准BICs后,三次谐波的产生效率可以得到极大的提高,如图5(b)所示。Koshelev等[123]利用了单个纳米谐振器中的BIC来产生二次谐波,通过连续调制谐振器的直径,在BICs谐振的参数空间附近二次谐波得到显著增强,如图5(c)所示。BICs的另一重要应用是产生激光[131-134]。2017年,Kanté课题组[131]提出了基于BICs的激光器,该激光器工作在通信波段,且工艺与CMOS(Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)工艺兼容。系统中的微腔由相互耦合的半导体纳米盘组成,半导体纳米盘之间采用微桥连接的方式使其悬空,并嵌在一个亚微米的薄膜上,如图5(d)所示。Bahari等[133]提出了一种具用BICs偏振奇点特性的激光器,该激光器可以产生携带轨道角动量的相干光束,这种涡旋光束源于BICs在动量空间中的偏振涡旋所引入的Pancharatnam-Berry相位。光子晶体在动量空间BIC附近的远场辐射存在由一系列布洛赫共振态形成的涡旋构型。由于实空间和动量空间具有共轭关系,利用动量空间中的这种涡旋结构也可以实现等价于超构表面的涡旋相位调制[135]。2020年,Huang等[136]利用了光子晶体BICs激光器对称性敏感的特性设计一种超快光开关,这对超快光通信系统的发展具有重要意义。Huang等[136]创新性地利用了两束光泵浦光子晶体腔并采用了全光学的方法打破对称性,进而改变BICs激光器的远场辐射形貌,因此能够突破上能级粒子寿命的限制以及实现皮秒量级的超快光开关。
BICs所具有的极低辐射损耗特性适用于片上集成及光通信系统[137-138]。香港中文大学孙贤开教授领导的研究组[138]基于BICs概念实现了具有低传输损耗的多模波导的调制,即解调系统,如图5(e)所示。该研究组首先优化传输波导的宽度,使得4个横磁场(TM)模式均具有较低的辐射损耗,然后使用不同宽度的波导逐个信道地进行耦合和解耦,其中每个耦合或解耦波导的宽度经过仔细设计后可以使相位匹配条件和低传输损耗均得到较好的满足。这一集成通信系统采用低折射率聚合物波导和高折射率铌酸锂衬底,这可以避免对铌酸锂的刻蚀,具有低成本和易加工的优势。BICs由于其具有抑制微小区域辐射损耗的特性,在片上集成光学系统中的应用前景广阔。
此外,BICs所具有的高品质因数特性也受到了生物传感领域的研究者的高度关注[139-144]。现有生物传感方法的设计比较复杂,需要实验室的大型设备、专业的检测人员和复杂的监测方案。超构表面生物传感器具有光与物质相互作用显著增强的特点,在探测生物分子方面有着广泛的应用前景,特别是该方法具有无标记和无损伤的优点。瑞士联邦理工学院(洛桑)的Altug等[142-143]利用了BICs可实现高品质因数的电介质超构表面生物传感和高光谱成像,并且可用于超灵敏生物分子的探测。锯齿型纳米椭圆柱阵列超构表面可以支持准BICs谐振,而且具有极窄的线宽,约为2 nm,如图5(f)所示。利用COMS探测器阵列可以记录每个像素点的峰位,进而实现高达每平方微米3个分子的超灵敏生物分子探测。

光子晶体和光栅结构简单,为此可以利用时域耦合模理论来描述BICs的行为,如BICs在两个耦合模式的位置、BICs的远场辐射偏振奇点特性以及对称性与BICs的联系等[40, 57, 67]。超构表面含有可任意设计的亚波长结构单元,其可以灵活地调控光场的相位、偏振和频率等,通过局域化地精准设计这些“超原子”,有望大大拓展BICs系统在多维空间中的属性,如手性BICs和偏振极化BICs等,并可以拓展BICs系统的能带结构。近年来,关于准晶超构表面等非周期性光子系统的研究[145-146],将布洛赫波理论与局域化超构表面设计结合,有望进一步挖掘BICs系统的内在物理机制。目前,关于BICs超构表面的研究,集中在优化结构设计获得更高品质因数以及如何引入理想的BICs耦合到辐射平面波上,由于光子系统具有互易性,而难以实现对理想BICs的激发。最近时间-宇称对称性在微腔和超构材料中的研究[16, 147-148]有望突破这一瓶颈,精确设计的增益与损耗为光子系统引入新的自由度,其中BICs的形成与激发机制有待进一步探索。形成BICs的机制均源于模式间的强耦合,这一条件还是比较苛刻的,即往往需要高折射率或者在动量空间中的高对称点,因此在模式弱耦合的条件下能否实现BICs引起了研究者的兴趣。
单个微纳谐振器中,光波可以转换成BICs谐振,从而实现具有高品质因数的超微腔模式。使用高折射率材料以及电磁波所具有的相干性可以减少谐振腔的维度,从而将单个BICs微纳谐振器结合在二维阵列结构中。未来,针对阵列结构中的共振态电磁理论会快速发展出许多全新方法,采用这些方法可以解决品质因数与非线性效率的关系以及高品质因数共振态的有效激发和非线性谐波相位控制等瓶颈问题。在不久的将来,科技工作者调制基于BICs谐振的品质因数,能够极大地提高非线性和量子效应,进而研制出低阈值激光器。光子晶体和超构表面中,BICs具有超高的品质因数,但现有的探测手段较为复杂,如需要在动量空间中测量散射强度或需要矢量光束来激发等。如何解决BICs高辐射品质因数与易激发的矛盾是极具挑战性的课题。此外打破对称性,激发准BICs需要对称性缺陷的精确控制;达到临界耦合状态也对微纳加工的工艺提出更高的要求。
