摘要
电润湿液体透镜是通过改变液面的形状而实现变焦的,变焦时间由透镜本身和驱动电压共同决定。为了减少变焦时间,需加快液面运动的速度,而黏滞系数较大的液体透镜其液面运动速度较慢。针对这一问题,提出了一种减少变焦时间的方法,即采用过驱动电压提高液面运动速度,然后将驱动电压降至目标电压。为验证该方法的有效性,基于近轴光线的传输理论,设计并搭建了电润湿液体透镜变焦时间的测试系统,分析了该系统的测试机理,研究了不同过驱动电压对电润湿液体透镜变焦时间的影响。结果表明,最佳情况下变焦时间由350 ms减少至82 ms。
Abstract
The electrowetting liquid lens can zoom by changing the shape of the liquid surface, whose zoom time is determined by the lens itself and the driving voltage. In order to reduce zoom time, it is necessary to speed up the speed of liquid surface movement. However, the liquid lens with large viscosity coefficients has small speed of liquid surface movement. Aiming at this problem, a method to reduce zoom time is proposed, in which the overdriving voltage is first used to increase the speed of liquid surface movement, and then the driving voltage is reduced to the target voltage. In order to verify the effectiveness of this method, a test system for the zoom time of electrowetting liquid lens is designed and built based on the transmission theory of paraxial light. The testing mechanism of the system is analyzed and the influence of overdriving voltage on the zoom time of electrowetting liquid lens is studied. The results show that the zoom time is reduced from 350 ms to 82 ms in the best case.
