扩散对光折变空间孤子的影响
Effect of Diffusion on Propagation of Photorefractive Spatial Solitons
摘要
把光折变空间孤子看作几何光学中的一束光线,研究了扩散效应对光折变空间孤子传播的影响.基于光线光学与经典力学之间的相似性,求解了含扩散势(即扩散机制引起的折射率的变化)的光线哈密顿方程.积分结果表明,光学空间孤子的中心按照抛物线轨迹运动,空间频率的横向分量随传播距离线性地变化.
Abstract
By treating photorefractive spatial soliton as rays in geometric optics, the action of the diffusion effect on propagation of PR spatial solitons is analyzed. Based on similarity between ray picture and classical mechanics picture, ray Hamiltonian equations of motion in a diffusion potential created by the induced change in the refractive index are resolved exactly by integrating. Results indicate that the center of the optical spatial solitons moves on a parabolic trajectory and the spatial frequency transverse component shifts linearly with propagation distance.
