摘要
提出了一种基于光学低相干反射(OLCR)技术的嵌入式双环形光纤传感网络。给出了光纤传感网络结构、空分复用(SDM)原理,分析了网络中传感器的信号特性,对携带10个传感器的传感网络进行了实验研究。理论和实验研究表明,通过改变环形网络中传感器的安放位置与布设数量,对网络的传感特性进行优化,可以提高传感系统的复用能力。此结构可嵌入智能结构中,用于准分布应变或温度的测量。
Abstract
In order to increase the multiplexing ability of a sensing system and decrease the measuring cost of each sensor, a novel embedded-twin-loop fiber optic sensor network is proposed and demonstrated based on the optical low-coherent reflectometry (OLCR) technique. In this paper the configuration of the fiber optic sensing network and the principle of spatial-division multiplexing (SDM) are presented, the signal characteristic of the network is analyzed and the experimental study of the sensing network with 10 sensors is carried out. The theoretical prediction shows that the sensing characteristic of the network can be optimized through changing the position and the number of sensors in the twin-loop topology network, so that the multiplexing ability of the sensing system is enhanced. This sensor network can be embedded in the smart structures to measure the quasi-distributed strain and temperature.
