腔内泵浦的自持脉冲掺铒光纤激光器

摘要
提出了一种结构新颖的腔内泵浦的自持脉冲掺铒光纤激光器。在连续的较低的功率泵浦下,实现了激光器的单倍和双倍周期的自持脉冲输出。实验结果表明,腔内两正交偏振激光场瞬态损耗的差异是导致这种非线性动力学现象的主要机制。
Abstract
A novel self pulsed Er 3+ doped fiber laser pumped internally is presented in this paper. Stable T periodic and 2T periodic pulses have been achieved under the low pump power with the CW pumping mode. The experimental results indicate that the main mechanism of the nonlinear dynamics phenomena results from the transient loss difference between the two orthogonal states of polarization.
