对TDHM技术提高光网络被保护容量的探究
Exploration on the Time Domain Hybrid Modulation Technique for Enhancing Protected Capacity of Optical Networks
摘要
新型时域混合调制(TDHM)技术可以提高光通道的频谱使用效率,有效地提高光网络的容量。针对共享备份路径保护(SBPP)技术下的波分复用(WDM)光网络,我们结合TDHM技术研究了路由和波长分配(RWA)问题,并提出了一种基于最佳路径对策略的优化技术。仿真结果表明,与传统的最短路径策略优化技术相比,提出的最佳路径对策略能使被保护的网络容量提高30%,从而验证了TDHM技术对提高光网络传输容量的有效性。
Abstract
Time Domain Hybrid Modulation (TDHM) can significantly improve the spectrum efficiency and capacity of optical channel in optical networks. Based on the Shared Backup Path Protection (SBPP), in Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) network, we combine the TDHM technique with Routing and Wavelength Assignment (RWA), and propose a novel optimal path pair strategy. Simulation studies indicates that, compared with traditional k-shortest path strategy, our new approach can increase the protected network capacity up to 30%, which verifies the efficiency of TDHM technique in terms of improving the transmission capacity in optical networks.
