基于摆钟原理的马赫-曾德尔流量传感器

摘要
提出一种基于光纤锥级联纤芯失配结构的马赫-曾德尔干涉流量传感器。在拉绳表面紧密粘贴传感器, 其底端悬挂圆形靶片, 靶片放置于管道内部; 当流体流过管道, 引起靶片发生横向移动, 传感器受到靶片轴向拉力作用, 导致透射谱发生变化; 通过监测干涉谱能量和波长变化实现外界物理量的测量。实验结果表明, 当流量在0.329~0.847L/s范围内变化时, 响应灵敏度为-0.472dB/( L/s), 线性度为0.993。所提传感器制作简单、灵敏度高, 具有较好的应用前景。
Abstract
An Mach-Zehnder flow-meter sensor based on waist-enlarged fiber tapers and core diameter mismatch is proposed. The sensor is attached to a rope, and the bottom of the rope is suspended with a target which is placed inside the pipe. When the fluid flows in the pipe and the target produces lateral displacement, the sensor is affected by the axial tension of the target plate, causing the transmission spectrum to change. The external physical quantity is measured by monitoring the energy of interference spectrum and wavelength. The experimental results show that the sensitivity of the sensor is -0.472dB/ (L/s) with a linearity of 0.993 in the flow range of 0.329~0.847L/s. The sensor has the advantages of easy fabrication process and high sensitivity, which make it have a good prospect of application.
