TFT-LCD光致发绿不良改善、机理分析及研究

摘要
广色域TFT-LCD产品需要使用高颜料浓度的RGB色阻, 光照状态下易于发生发绿不良, 严重影响TFT-LCD显示器件的视觉效果。通过研究不同成分的色阻制成的TFT-LCD与光电测试样板在光照前后的发绿情况以及光电特性变化, 确定TFT-LCD光致发绿不良源于绿色色阻中含有的金属酞箐类G颜料, 且不良程度与绿色色阻中G颜料含量强关联。此类颜料具有共轭结构与半导体特性, 光照状态下发生电子迁移, 导致介质损耗因数升高, 影响TFT-LCD的耦合电场, 进而导致RGB像素亮度的差异化, 形成光致发绿不良。依托方法: (1)在保证TFT-LCD样品色度规格的前提下, 通过广色域G颜料以降低绿色色阻中的G颜料含量; (2)使用高敏感度的光起始剂, 可以有效改善TFT-LCD产品的光致发绿不良, 尤其方法(1)更为有效。本文建立TFT-LCD显色核心的彩色滤光片RGB色阻成分管理基准, 同时搭建光致发绿不良的生产线与实验室评价体系, 为后续色阻材料开发提供理论指导。
Abstract
The wide color gamut TFT-LCD need to use RGB color resin with high pigment concentration, which is easy to bad illumination and seriously affect the visual result of TFT-LCD. By studying the green Mura of TFT-LCD and electrical/optical properties of the electrical/optical test substrate with different color resin before and after light irradiation, the results show that Phthalocyanine in green pigment is the main factor of light-caused green Mura, and the Mura degree is strongly associated with the content of the G pigment. Such pigments have conjugated structure and semiconductor properties, then electron migration in light state leads to the increase of dielectric loss factor and the influence of the coupling electric field of TFT-LCD, which leads to the difference of RGB pixel brightness, and forms the light-caused green Mura. Relying on the method (1) Under the meeting of the chromaticity specification of TFT-LCD, effectively reduce the G pigment content in green color resin by using of wide gamut G pigment; (2) Using high sensitivity photo initiator in green color resin can effectively improve the light-caused green Mura of TFT-LCD products, especially the method (1). In this paper, the RGB color resin component management standard and the Fab./Lab. evaluation system of the light-caused green mura are set up, the theoretical guidance for subsequent color resin is also established.
