摘要
实验上观测了贝塞尔光束在饱和非线性介质中的呼吸传输行为,出射光斑的时间演化过程验证了其传播存在呼吸现象。结合怪波形成的线性几何会聚理论和非线性诱导理论,进一步通过实验设计,使具有一定间隔的两束贝塞尔光束以一定夹角入射,当两个贝塞尔呼吸子在出射面碰撞时,可获得一个巨峰,该巨峰的峰值能量为线性情况下的3.1倍。此光斑的高峰值特性和反相位边锋的分布特性与怪波的基本特性吻合。相应的数值模拟结果与实验结果也表现出很好的一致性。研究结果为光怪波的形成提供了一种有效的线性和非线性相结合的设计方法,对海洋怪波的研究有一定的借鉴意义。
Abstract
The breather transmission behavior of a Bessel beam in saturated nonlinear media is observed experimentally, and the time evolution process of the emitted light spot verifies that a breathing phenomenon exists in its propagation. With the theories of linear geometric convergence and non-linear induction for the formation of rogue waves, and through the further experimental design to make two Bessel beams incident at a certain angle with a certain interval, it is found that when two Bessel breathers collide on the exit surface, a giant peak with a peak energy of 3.1 times that in the linear regime is obtained. The high peak characteristics of this light spot and the distribution characteristics of the out-of-phase wing fronts are consistent with the basic characteristics of rogue waves. The corresponding numerical simulation results are in a good agreement with the experimental ones. The results in this study provide an effective combination of linear and nonlinear designs for the formation of optical rogue waves, and have a certain reference for the study of ocean rogue waves.
