2019年1月29日,由中国科学院上海光学精密机械研究所主办,中国激光杂志社和国际光学工程学会(SPIE)联合出版的高影响力期刊Advanced Photonics第一期正式出版。Advanced Photonics专注于发表光子学领域基础与应用研究的重大突破,同时聚焦光子学与材料学、生物学、化学等方向的交叉研究。

Advanced Photonics由伦敦国王学院(King’s College London)的Anatoly Zayats教授和深圳大学的袁小聪教授担任共主编,编委由13位世界知名光学与光子学领域的专家组成。Advanced Photonics第一期发表了来自帝国理工学院、澳大利亚国立大学、南洋理工大学、清华大学、浙江大学等国际著名高校和研究机构的7篇高水平论文。

“近年来,光子学领域有越来越多的突破性成果,但是高影响力的期刊还是太少。”主编Anatoly Zayats教授表示,“Advanced Photonics的创办将满足科研人员对快速发表高质量论文的迫切需求,有望成为光子学及相关领域最具创新性的刊物之一。”

“Advanced Photonics鼓励作者发表个人观点,阐述新方法的产生,希望这能为科研人员带来启发。”主编袁小聪教授指出,“除了综述和研究论文,Advanced Photonics还将特邀相关领域的资深学者撰写新闻和评论。第一期特别邀请了SPIE前任CEO Eugene Arthurs发表评述——Perspectives on the future of photonics: the best is yet to come,并刊登了帝国理工学院John Pendry教授关于变换光学研究的专访,希望为光子学领域的最新进展带来全方位多角度的报道。”

Advanced Photonics为双月刊,采用同行评议、开放获取的模式出版。
