Introduction for Chinese Laser Press

Chinese Laser Press is an affiliated company of Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (SIOM), Chinese Academy of Sciences. With four journals and a website as the dominated business, the press is devoted to publishing academic and industrial optoelectronic journals, developing printed, internet-based and video products, and offering high quality information service to optical scientific researching and industrial organizations.?


At present, the press publishes four China's famous journals, i.e. Chinese Journal of Lasers, Acta Optica Sinica, Laser and Optoelectronics Progress (LOP), and Chinese Optics Letters (COL). Thereinto, COL has been included by SCI and Ei, and Chinese Journal of Laser and Acta Optica Sinica are Ei core journals. LOP is a Chinese sci-tech core journal, and it provides fresh, deep and authoritative news and analysis for Chinese optoelectronic industry.


The website, China Optics Journal Website, is an influential portal in China optics field, which includes articles database of more than 30 excellent domestic optical journals, and also releases authoritative information in optics industry.


In 2008, a series of brand expansion business has been carried out, including academic conferences, exhibitions, training, and e-business, among which the Advanced Training Class of Optical Design has become a brand project in optical training field.


The business of Chinese Laser Press is divided into four parts: editorial department, development department, publication department, and competitive intelligence department.
