Vacuum-ultraviolet Emissions from Alkali Ionic Excimer Kr+Cs and Xe+Cs by Relativistic e-beam Pumping
摘要
由相对论电子束激发稀有气体和碱金属Cs的混合蒸气,观察到来自Kr+Cs(131um)和Xe+Cs(159um)离子准分子的真空紫外发射带。实验研究了真空紫外发射的光谱和温度依赖特性。经理论计算和实验的对比,两个发射带被分别标识为(KrCs)+和(XeCs)+离子准分子的21Σ+-1Σ+跃迁。
Abstract
A gas mixture of xenon or krypton with a hot vapor of rubidium was excited to obtain a diffuse emission band centered at 159 nm from (XeCs)+ and at 131 nm from (KrCs)+ molecular ions. The observed emission bands are assigned to be the 21Σ +-11Σ +transition of (XeCs) + and (KrCs) +, respectively.
