940nm LD泵浦双包层掺镱光纤激光器的实验研究

摘要
对940nm半导体激光器泵浦的掺镱双包层光纤激光器进行了实验研究。在双端泵浦下,采用两种不同的腔结构对光纤激光器的输出特性进行研究。以光纤两端面构成平-平(F-P)腔获得了总功率为10.1W的连续激光输出,斜效率达40.5%,输出激光的光谱范围为1092~1103nm;以二色镜和光纤反馈端面构成平-平腔,获得单端输出功率为6.42W的连续激光输出,输出激光的光谱范围为1091~1105nm,在此输出功率下测得功率不稳定度为1.6%(RMS)。
Abstract
An experimental investigation on the cladding-pumped ytterbium-doped fiber laser with unusual pumping source with 940nm wavelength is presented. In double-end-pumped mode,the output characteristics of two kinds of fiber lasers which used different cavity structure are analyzed. Using end-end cavity structure,CW output power of 10.1W with slope efficiency of 40.5% is obtained,the spectrum range is 1092~1103nm. Using dichroscope-end cavity structure,CW 6.42W output power is obtained,the spectrum range is 1091~1105nm. In this condition,1.6%(RMS) fluctuation of output power stability is measured.
