氩离子激光掺铒光纤的双稳态
Optical Bistability of an Er3+-doped Fiber under Ar+-laser Irradiation
摘要
分析了掺铒光纤双稳态(EDFOB)的工作原理、工作条件和特性,并利用氩离子激光(514.5 nm)实现了EDFOB的低功率(<10 mW)运转。实验与理论结果基本相符。
Abstract
Principle, characteristics and operation of Er-doped fiber optical bistability (EDFOB) are analyzed. Low power (<10 mW) operation of EDPOB is realized using an Ar+-laser (514.5 nm). The experimental result is consistent with theory.
