LD抽运Nd∶KGW薄片激光器的研究

摘要
为了解决Nd∶KGW的热效应问题,提出了端面冷却方法,并研究了LD面抽运Nd∶KGW薄片激光器的性能。针对LD端面抽运Nd∶KGW激光器,计算了激光介质表面的温度分布。计算结果表明,Nd∶KGW晶体的热效应相当严重。该激光器外推抽运阈值为300mW。虽然谐振腔损耗高达4.06%,激光器的最大斜效率仍达到30.49%。输入功率为3.2W时晶体被打裂,比类似文献中报道的数值高出大约1W。
Abstract
For the case of LD end-pumped Nd∶KGW laser,the temperature distribution on the surface of laser medium is calculated. The calculating results show that the thermal effect of Nd∶KGW crystal is very severe. End-cooling method is used to alleviate the thermal effect of Nd∶KGW thin-disk laser face-pumped by a diode. An extrapolated threshold pumping power of 300mW is obtained for the thin-disk laser. A maximum slope efficiency of 30.49% is obtained even with high optical loss of 4.06% in the cavity. Laser crystal is damaged when the pumping power reaches 3.2W,which is approximately 1 W higher than the number reported in the relevant reference.
