多灯泵浦椭圆腔棒状放大器的效率设计
Design for Pumping Efficiency of Rod Amplifier of Ellipic Cavities with Multiple Lamps
摘要
通过细致的数值计算和理论分析,系统在阐述了在放大介质和泵浦灯口径一定的情况下,光腔膜层反射率、泵浦灯数、椭圆结构参数、水管结构参数等对泵浦效率的影响,并着重分析了当激活介质离开椭圆焦点靠近泵浦灯时放大器泵浦效率的变化。这些结果对多灯泵浦椭圆腔棒状放大器设计有重要参考价值。
Abstract
The influences of some factors of rod amplifier on its pumping efficiency are studied by numerical methods with certain radii of the rod and the lamps. These factors include the refectivity of the inside of its elliptic cavities, the cavities′ major and minor axises, the distance of the rod away from the central focus to the lamps, the number of the lamps and the structure of the glass tube for cooling the rod. The results are very useful for the design of rod amplifier.
