LiNbO3晶体 电光张量系数 四极电场 基本品质因子 KNbO3 coefficient of EO tensor quadrupolar electric-field fundamental figure of merit
摘要
分析了KNbO3晶体的电光性质, 利用电光张量系数γ33加工成电光偏转器, 偏转梯度电场由四个柱面电极产生。实验结果表明, 在结构参数、通光口径及其它条件均等同的情况下, 该器件的基本品质因子约是LiNbO3电光偏转器的2倍。
Abstract
In this paper, the electro optical properties of a KNbO3 single crystal was studied. A KNbO3 deflector with four cylindrical electrodes, which utilizes the coefficient γ33 of the EO tensor, was made. Results of the experiment indicated that the fundamental figure of merit of the KNbO3 deflector was about twice that of the LiNbO3 crystal with equal structural parameters, aperture and length.
