考虑光纤光栅反射率分布的外腔半导体激光器的理论模型

Theoretical Model of External Cavity Semiconductor Lasers Including the Reflectivity Distribution of Fiber Grating

摘要
提出了等效腔近似下,包含光纤光栅反射率分布的光纤光栅外腔半导体激光器(FGECL)的理论模型.数值分析表明,用该模型所得到的模式抑制比(MSR)明显小于把光纤光栅反射率当成点函数(即只在某一波长处有反射率,其余波长处反射率为0)来处理时所得到的模式抑制比.
Abstract
Using the equivalent external cavity approximation, a theoretical model of fiber grating external cavity semiconductor laser (FGECL) has been presented after taking into account the reflectivity distribution of fiber grating. The numerical analysis shows that the obtained mode suppression ratio (MSR) by the model is obviously lower than that by regarding the reflectivity distribution of fiber grating as a dot function.
