Abstract
ASE(amplified spontaneous emission) fiber probe, which is used for SNOM(scanning nearfield optical microscopy), has been developed in this paper. This kind of probe has relatively high photon flux with an improvement of about 3 times over an ordinary probe. Its output spectrum is within 1531-1537 nm. The output power in 77K temperature is about 2.5 times as high as that in the normal temperature.
