双光栅外腔可调谐掺Yb3+双包层光纤激光器

Tunable Yb3+-doped Double-cladding Fiber Laser with a Double-grating Configuration

摘要
采用一种新颖的双光栅装置作为外腔调谐结构,实现了掺Yb3+双包层光纤激光器的调谐输出,调谐范围1037~1106 nm。双光栅结构的应用,使调谐输出的激光光谱的线宽大大变窄,小于0.1 nm。检偏器测量结果表明,整个调谐范围内的激光输出均为线偏振光。
Abstract
Using a novel double-grating arrangement, a tunable Yb 3+-doped double-cladding fiber laser with a tuning range from 1037 nm to 1106 nm has been demonstrated. Because of the double-grating arrangement, the bandwidth of every tuned laser is greatly narrowed to less than 0 1 nm, and the output laser is linearly polarized light.
