针对现有的以RGBW为主的多基色图像显示, 着重分析了RGBW子像素排列结构的工艺制造问题, 以及常见的RGBW排列结构显示成像时的诸多缺点, 并在此基础上提出一种新型的RGBWRGB子像素排列结构。在色域映射算法方面, 指出常见的RGB到RGBW的色域映射算法在面对复杂图像时的缺点, 并尝试在现有算法上进行改进以适配提出的新型子像素排列结构, 从而实现转换后图像色彩的还原和亮度的提升。

To improve the accuracy of color image reproduction from displays to printers, an adaptively spatial color gamut mapping algorithm (ASCGMA) is proposed. In this algorithm, the compression degree of out-of-reproduction-gamut color is not only related to the position of the color in CIELCH color space, but also depending on the neighborhood of the color to be mapped. The psychophysical experiment of pair comparison is carried out to evaluate and compare this new algorithm with the HPMINDE and SGCK gamut mapping algorithms recommended by the International Commission on Illumination (CIE). The experimental results indicate that the proposed algorithm outperforms the algorithms of HPMINDE and SGCK except for the very dark images.
