针对低轨卫星激光通信中空间碎片可能造成的星间链路中断问题,提出一种方向增强的链路状态路由算法。首先搭建了卫星通信的网络拓扑结构,对空间碎片的运动模型和卫星的运动模型进行联合建模仿真,得到卫星与碎片的相对位置并进行星间可见性分析,提出了方向影响因子和方向增强指数,结合星间链路距离及传输时延综合考虑链路代价,从而选择合适的传输路径方向,依次在每个卫星节点对间进行最小路径选择,并以路由跳数为评价指标。仿真结果表明,在有空间碎片存在的环境中,所提算法能够在不牺牲通信质量的前提下,实现路由跳数相比Dijkstra算法降低14%,传输时延相比Dijkstra算法减少17%。

In this Letter, we propose two crosstalk-aware routing, core, and spectrum assignment (CA-RCSA) algorithms for spatial division multiplexing enabled elastic optical networks (SDM-EONs) with multi-core fibers. First, the RCSA problem is modeled, and then a metric, i.e., CA spectrum compactness (CASC), is designed to measure the spectrum status in SDM-EONs. Based on CASC, we propose two CA-RCSA algorithms, the first-fit (FF) CASC algorithm and the random-fit (RF) CASC algorithm. Simulation results show that our proposed algorithms can achieve better performance than the baseline algorithm in terms of blocking probability and spectrum utilization, with FF-CASC providing the best performance.

针对机会社会网络中RADR (机会社会网络消息传送算法)存在消息传输时延偏大和消息传输成功率偏低的问题, 提出一种ECRA (基于社区的高效的机会社会网络路由算法)。ECRA只选取与消息目的节点在同一个社区的邻居节点来计算重要度, 并且利用连通拓扑侦听相遇节点, 检测相遇节点的邻居节点中是否存在更高重要度的节点, 若存在, 则利用相遇节点将消息传递给具有更高重要度的邻居节点。理论分析和仿真结果表明, ECRA与RADR及相关对比算法比较, 在消息传输成功率、平均端到端时延等方面的性能均得到了提升。

The average bit error rate (BER) performance of a free-space optical (FOS) system based on the multi-hop parallel decode-and-forward cooperative communication method with an M-ary phase shift keying subcarrier intensity modulation is studied systematically. With the max–min criterion as the best path selection scheme, the probability density function and the cumulative distribution function of the gamma–gamma distribution random variable signal-to-noise ratio are derived. The analytical BER expression is then obtained in terms of the Gauss–Laguerre quadrature rule. Monte Carlo simulation is also provided to confirm the validity of the presented average BER model.

The rapid growth of the Internet raises the importance of resource planning of Internet protocol (IP) over elastic optical networks (EONs), which is a challenging task due to more complex and obscure physical -constraints of it. Compared with network cost, the power consumption may eventually become the barrier to the expansion of the Internet. We present an energy-efficient virtual topology design (VTD) scheme for IP over EON. We explicitly explain and analyze the mixed integer linear programming model and the heuristic algorithm for this scheme. Numerical results show that the proposed VTD scheme can significantly save power consumption.

弹性光网络可大幅度提高频谱利用率并为用户提供灵活的带宽粒度.为改进已有弹性光网络的选路与频谱分配算法,建立了描述弹性光网络中选路与频谱分配问题的整数线性规划模型,提出两种分别基于最多频隙数优先和最长路径优先与业务疏导结合的启发式算法,以进一步提高频谱利用率,设计了所提算法的重排序准则和流程.对小型6结点、中型14结点和大型19结点等三种不同网络拓扑进行仿真实验,结果表明,所提算法可有效提高已有算法的频谱利用率.

Abstract
A domain-level gradient-based routing (DLR) algorithm for heterogeneous optical networks with synchronous digital hierarchy and optical transport network domains is proposed and experimentally validated. This algorithm classifies domains into groups with incremental levels on the basis of domain-level partitioning, and guides paths level by level along a gradient on the basis of interdomain routing tree evolution. The proposed algorithm is implemented in the hierarchical path computation element-based control architecture for connection provisioning. Testbeds with commercial and emulated nodes are established to verify the feasibility and performance of the algorithm. Experimental and emulation results show that DLR effectively performs in terms of network blocking probability, real time characteristics, and scalability.

A quality-of-service (QoS) aware scheme, called precautionary performance monitoring, is proposed to solve the optical impairments and congestion control in coherent optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexed (CO-OFDM) networks. The centralized path computation element (PCE) extensions based on the QoS level are applied to optical performance monitoring in this letter.

Abstract
Transport network paths are typically bidirectional and symmetrical. In multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) and generalized MPLS (GMPLS) mechanisms, independent labels are distributed for bidirectional paths. Thus, the requirement of the MPLS transport profile (MPLS-TP), which is a new transport technology, could not be satisfied efficiently. A novel label distribution mechanism for bidirectional paths in MPLS-TP networks is proposed. Labels distributed by the mechanism are symmetrical and can reflect the pairing relationship of the forward and backward directions of the transport path.

Signal degradation due to physical impairments may result in unacceptable bit-error rates of received signals at the destination. Based on earlier work, we study the impairment-aware quality of service (QoS) provisioning problem in dual-header optical burst switching (OBS) networks that employ two control packets for each data burst. At an OBS node, the proposed algorithm schedule bursts for transmission by searching for available resources using admission control and preemption. The algorithm also verifies signal quality. Simulation results show that this algorithm is effective in providing QoS support in OBS networks while considering physical impairment effects.
