摘要
基于非临界相位匹配,尺寸4 mm×4 mm×25 mm的磷酸钛氧铷(RTP)非线性光学晶体,在全固态162 μm光参量振荡器(OPO)方面做了相关的实验研究,将808 nm半导体激光端面抽运的Nd:YVO4 1064 μm激光模块应用于腔外RTP-OPO,获得了高效稳定的光参量输出。对比了不同OPO腔长、不同声光调Q频率对信号光平均输出功率和信号光脉宽的影响,在34 W抽运功率、23 kHz的重复频率和4 cm OPO腔长下获得最高平均功率为11 W的1619 μm信号光输出,抽运光-信号光转换效率高达323%,总光-光转换效率为85%。在最高输出功率11 W下得到单脉冲宽度4 ns,比基频光脉冲宽度(30 ns)小得多。
Abstract
The all solid state extracavity optical parametric oscillator at 16 μm eye-safe wavelength band on a non-critical phase matching KTP crystals with 4 mm×4 mm×25 mm in size is demonstrated by using LD end-pumped Nd:YVO4 1064 μm laser as the KTP-EOPO pumping source. The signal average output power and pulse width with different pulse repetition frequencies of Q-switcher and different OPO cavity length was compared. With a pump power of 34 W and a pulse repetition frequency of 23 kHz and a OPO cavity length of 4 cm,a maximum output power of 11 W eye-safe laser at 1619 μm was achieved with a pump-signal conversion efficiency to 323% and a diode to signal conversion efficiency up to 85%. Under the maximum output power of 11W,the signal pulse width (4 ns) was narrower than the pulse width (30 ns).
