Effect of Hemispherical Lens of High Power LED on Primary Optical Efficiency
摘要
从发光二极管(LED)的发光原理及封装结构出发, 研究了入射角大于全反射临界角而引起的全反射损失对LED封装光能提取效率的影响。通过简化LED结构, 建立数学参数模型, 寻求LED光能提取率与半球形透镜的半径和折射率的数值关系。研究发现LED光学效率与半球形透镜折射率和半径呈特定的非线性关系, 该结论通过Lighttools软件仿真得到验证。
Abstract
From principles and package structure of light emitting diode (LED), the effects on primary optical efficiency of the total reflection losses were studied. By simplifying the LED structure and establishing a mathematical model, the numerical relationship of LED output energy with the radius and the refractive index of hemispherical lens was analyzed and it was found to be a nonlinear relationship. The conclusion was verified by Lighttools simulations.
