摘要
针对眼镜镜片成像性能评价,根据信息论的概念,对物面与像面图像进行小波变换分解得到多个不同子频带图像,计算分解之后的各个子频带的区域互信息值(RMI)。依据人眼视觉系统对不同频率光学信号敏感度不同的特点,采用小波滤波器和人眼模型的MTF的空间频段积分比反映人眼对不同频率信号的敏感程度,以该积分比作为各频带RMI的权重系数,加权计算得到MRMI值。选取了目前市场上六款不同阿贝数和折射率的镜片进行测量实验,得到每款镜片的成像MRMI值,其定量反映了镜片的成像性能,与人眼视觉主观感知相符。
Abstract
An optical lens performance evaluation method based on multi-band regional mutual information (MRMI) is proposed. Object plane and its image plane is decomposed into multiple frequency band by wavelet transform. The retina is sensitive to different signals at different frequencies in human visual system(HVS). So the wavelet transform simulates this process. Regional mutual information (RMI) is calculated for each sub-band according to information theory. The weighted coefficients of RMI in each sub-band are calculated by integral ratio of wavelet filter and MTF in spatial frequency domain. Then MRMI is done by weighted synthesis of RMI. Six lenses with different Abbe number and refractive index on the market were selected for measurement experiments, and the imaging MRMI value of each lens was obtained, which quantitatively reflected the imaging performance of the lens and was consistent with the visual perception of human eyes.
