基于人工免疫算法的里奥型液晶调谐滤波器优化设计

摘要
为满足液晶可调谐滤波器(Liquid Crystal Tunable Filter,LCTF)滤波性能和多参数优化的需求,本文提出了一种基于人工免疫算法(Immune Algorithm,IA)的里奥(Lyot)型LCTF优化设计方法。该方法以Lyot型LCTF的光透过率、透射主峰的半高宽(Full Width at Half Maximum,FWHM)、截止区旁瓣抑制(Side Lobe Suppression,SLS)等滤波器基本光谱性能指标为评价函数,基于特定评价函数约束下的全局寻找LCTF最佳液晶盒厚度和驱动电压配置参数组合进行优化设计。仿真结果表明,IA算法优化后的LCTF与传统Lyot型LCTF相比,旁瓣抑制效果提升了73.42%,整体滤波效果提升了13.90%,同时用可调控评价函数权重来实现滤波器性能的智能调控以满足不同应用场景需求。该设计方法可避免传统滤波器对器件厚度线性精度的严重依赖,不仅在液盒厚度、级数选择上更加灵活,可改善光谱响应时间和光透过率,而且省略了繁琐的实验调试工作量,具有一定的研发高效性、实用性以及经济性。
Abstract
In order to meet the requirements of filtering performance and multi-parameter optimization of liquid crystal tunable filter (LCTF), an optimal design method of Lyot type LCTF based on the artificial immune algorithm (IA) is proposed in this paper. This method takes the basic spectral performance of Lyot type LCTF such as optical transmittance, full width at half maximum (FWHM) of the transmitted main peak, and sidelobe suppression (SLS) in cut-off region as the evaluation function,which aims to find optimal configuration of liquid crystal cells’ thickness and driving voltages of LCTF based on global range constrained by specific evaluation function. The simulation results show that compared with the traditional Lyot type LCTF, the side lobe suppression effect of the optimized LCTF by IA algorithm is increased by 73.42% and the overall filtering effect is improved by 13.90%. At the same time, this method can realize the intelligent regulation of the filter performance only by adjusting the weight ratio of parameters in the evaluation function to meet the requirements of different application scenarios. The most attractive advantage of this design method is that it can avoid the serious dependence of the traditional filters on the linear accuracy of device thickness. Moreover, it is not only more flexible in selection of liquid crystal cells thickness and numbers, but also can improve the spectral response time and optical transmittance, which ensures the high efficiency,development practicality and economy.
